By Thomas Perry
A high class "friendly" thief stumbles unto a triple murder. Now the bad guys are chasing her.
The Burglar is another enjoyable read from Thomas Perry. It's good, but not as good (in my opinion) as my favorite Perry novel, The Old Man. The Burglar is not as unconventional as Metzger's Dog, but like "Chinese" Gordon and Margaret in that story, and the nameless killer for hire in The Butcher's Boy, Perry again normalizes the life of a criminal.
I suspect one mark of good writing is when you root for "the criminal" being chased by criminals.
