Marilyn Prolman provides a very helpful primer on the Constitution of the United States of America. Brief and easy to understood. This is a great introduction for children (and adults who need a little "refresh" on their history). It is amply illustrated and has a helpful timeline of events associated with the Constitution. Read "The Declaration of Independence" in the Cornerstones of Freedom series first.
I gave this five stars for addressing younger readers in an engaging manner, for the quality of the writing, for making history understandable to the young, for the illustrations, and for the additional resources -- all in just 31 pages.
