WHY "ON MY WALK"?

Leaders love to read, but life gets in the way. We can miss out on the "Aha!" moments hidden in the books we love, but have difficulty finding time to read.

I want to help you capture that insight and inspiration. Brenda Ueland writes, "It is only in walks that are a little too long, that one has any new ideas" (If You Want to Write, p 44). I agree.

Every day I walk . . . with a book! Over the years I've walked thousands of miles and processed thousands of pages. I've met presidents and professors, psychologists and politicians. I've learned from great thinkers and everyday helpers.

The daily On My Walk Podcast lets me share the best of their insights so you can leverage it for your life and leadership.

Don't miss the idea that jump starts your day. Subscribe to On My Walk and capture your "Aha!" moment.

ABOUT ME

Dr-Thomas-L-Kiedis-portrait-67-2.jpeg

Hi, I'm Tommy Kiedis.

Like you, I love to read. I think my first substantive book was The Red Schoendienst Story. Red is a St. Louis Cardinals baseball icon. These days I'm reading 100 books a year, many of them on early morning walks through the streets of Boca Raton, FL, and now Lancaster, PA. I am a big fan of Audible.

I appreciate the words of Francis Bacon, "Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested."  I hope my "chewing" leads to some great "Aha!" moments that help sharpen your life and leadership.

I have eclectic tastes: presidential biography, leadership, history, hot rodding, cultural critique, classic literature and espionage novels to name a few interests. Join me on my walk. I can say with Dr. Seuss, "Oh the places you'll go."
